Good news everyone!
Today I rolled out another new feature for Standard plan users: Redirects.
Toward the bottom of your navigation menu on the left-hand side, you'll see the Redirects link. Go there and you'll be able to create a 301 Redirect, which here means a way to send a visitor from a URL on your Fireside site to another URL, which could be on Fireside or elsewhere.
For example, let's say you've migrated from another host, and would like to preserve some of your old URLs and send people to the new pages you've created on Fireside. A Redirect would be perfect for this. You'd create one to match your old url, like /some/old/path/123.html and redirect it to /123. It's as simple as that.
Or, let's say you want to send people to your YouTube page, or your Patreon, or to an affiliate link. You could create a Redirect with a memorable name, like "youtube", setup a url like yourpodcast.fireside.fm/youtube, and have it forward people to your youtube URL.
