User-Controlled "Episode #" Titles

Friends,

Today I rolled out a small enhancement that allows you to control if and how the "Episode #" title prefix will appear.

There had been some confusion as to how to control this, and the solution I'd come up with didn't work for some users. In the past, Fireside would display a title like "Episode 123: My Awesome Episode" for any episode that had a number in the slug. The only way to disable this was to change from a numeric slug (like "123") to a non-numeric slug (like "interview-with-weird-al").

But now, you can easily toggle the display of the "Episode 123" prefix using the Title Prefix checkbox under the Title on the Episode's page. You can also toggle the default for this setting on your Podcast's Settings Page in the Template Options section.

I hope this solution is more clear and easier for you to customize.

Thanks and happy podcasting!
