How Fireside Works with iHeartRadio
The iHeartRadio field in Fireside is a listening link, not a managed connection or submission tool. Submit your feed and complete ownership verification with iHeartRadio, then save the resulting listing URL in Fireside.
In iHeartRadio Podcaster Portal
Submit to iHeartRadio
iHeartRadio currently allows portal submissions from the United States, Canada, Mexico, Australia, and New Zealand. If you are outside those regions, use the contact route in its official submission guide.
- Check your public Fireside feed and the Author Email in podcast Settings. You need access to the email address used to verify ownership.
- Open iHeartRadio Podcaster Portal and submit the feed using its current prompts. Review the content agreement and complete ownership verification.
- After the listing is available, copy its iHeartRadio URL.
In iHeartRadio Podcaster Portal
Update an Existing Listing
For an active show with verified ownership, expand it in the iHeart dashboard and choose Manage Podcast → Update RSS Feed URL. Enter and verify the new feed, accept the terms, and complete ownership verification. See iHeartRadio’s feed-update instructions.
Use this path for a move to Fireside instead of creating a duplicate show. Contact iHeartRadio if you cannot access the existing listing.
In Fireside · Settings → Podcast Apps
Add the Listening Link in Fireside
Open Settings → Podcast Apps for your podcast. Paste the listing URL into iHeartRadio and save. Check the link on your podcast’s Subscribe page.
Understand Your Listening Reports
Fireside’s metrics report downloads served from your feed. iHeartRadio audience reports are not imported. For a question about a figure in the iHeartRadio portal, contact iHeartRadio support with the report name, date range, and show URL.
Remove a Website Link or Get Listing Help
Clear the iHeartRadio field under Settings → Podcast Apps to remove the link from your Fireside website. To remove or resolve ownership of the directory listing itself, contact iHeartRadio support with the show and feed URLs. Deleting your Fireside website link does not remove the show from iHeartRadio.
Verification or Listing Problems
- Ownership verification fails
- Check Author Email in Fireside’s podcast Settings and make sure you can receive mail there. Follow iHeartRadio’s email-verification instructions if the portal shows a different address.
- Episode missing
- Confirm the episode is published in your Fireside feed. If it is present there, contact iHeartRadio about its listing.
- Wrong website link
- Check the iHeartRadio URL saved in Fireside. Send Fireside any feed error or broken link on your website.
- Eligibility, review, or account access
- Contact iHeartRadio support with the portal’s error message, your feed URL, and the country you are submitting from.
