Fireside & Apple Podcasts

Fireside publishes your audio and RSS feed. Submit that feed in Apple Podcasts Connect, where you manage your Apple listing and audience insights.

How Fireside Works with Apple Podcasts

Start submission from Fireside’s Connections page, then finish in Apple Podcasts Connect. Keep publishing episodes in Fireside; use Apple Podcasts Connect to claim the listing, manage access, and review listening analytics.

Submit a New Show

In Fireside · Settings

  1. In Fireside, choose your podcast and open Settings. Check its title, description, artwork, and Author Email, and publish an episode you want listeners to hear.
  2. Open Connections and choose Submit to Apple Podcasts. Fireside opens Apple Podcasts Connect with your feed URL.

In Apple Podcasts Connect

  1. Sign in to your Apple Account. For a new listing, add a show with an RSS feed. Review the imported details, confirm content rights and contact information, choose availability, then save and publish. Resolve any validation warnings Apple reports.

Apple’s submission instructions explain the current options. Resolve Apple’s validation warnings before publishing the listing.

An Existing Show or a Move to Fireside

Keep your existing Apple listing when moving hosts. Redirect the old feed to your Fireside feed and check the listing’s feed address; creating another listing can leave listeners following the old one. Follow Apple’s hosting-change guidance, and ask Fireside for help checking the move before retiring your old hosting.

If the show is already on Apple but missing from your Apple Podcasts Connect account, use Apple’s claim process. Generate a claim token there, then enter it in Settings → Apple Podcasts → Claim Token if that field is available. If you do not see it, contact us. Some shows are ineligible for self-service claiming; Apple’s guide explains those cases and its support route.

Make Changes in the Right Place

Publish episodes and update feed-based titles, descriptions, and artwork in Fireside. Manage Apple account access and listing availability in Apple Podcasts Connect. Apple’s metadata guide explains how feed changes reach the listing.

Once Apple publishes your listing, copy its show URL and save it under Settings → Apple Podcasts → Apple Podcasts URL in Fireside. Check the link on your podcast’s Subscribe page.

Fireside’s Apple connection status reflects whether an Apple listing URL is saved. Check the actual Apple listing to confirm it is available and current.

In Apple Podcasts Connect · Analytics

Read Your Apple Podcasts Analytics

Sign in to Apple Podcasts Connect and open Analytics for your show. Apple reports listening behavior such as listeners, followers, and episode completion. Fireside reports downloads served by your host; a download and a completed listen are different measurements. Compare the same episode and date range before investigating a discrepancy.

Apple’s analytics guide explains the available insights. Apple’s listening analytics remain in Apple Podcasts Connect; they are not imported into Fireside.

Remove a Listing or a Website Link

To stop showing the Apple link on your Fireside website, clear the Apple Podcasts URL under Settings → Apple Podcasts. This does not remove the show from Apple Podcasts. For listing availability and removal, use Apple Podcasts Connect’s show management. Keep your existing listing when changing hosts.
