As independent podcasters since 2006, it is a great thrill to see our founder Dan Benjamin’s friend and fellow Austinite Adam Curry’s work in this space, and for us to do our part to help preserve podcasting as a platform for free speech!
On September 9th, 2020, Adam launched a new, always free, open podcast directory called The Podcast Index. When “The Podfather” revealed his plans, we got right to work!
We announced the following day (check out our Twitter announcement) that Fireside has integrated with The Podcast Index making it the first podcast hosting platform to allow customers to submit their show directly!
Current Fireside customers you can submit your show with one click under Dashboard > Connections > Podcast Index, and click “Submit to Podcast Index”. It’s that easy!
Update 11/13/2020: Our import system now looks for and obeys the Podcast Index locked tag.
