Google retired Google Play Music for Podcasts in 2018 and folded its podcast directory into Google Podcasts. Google Podcasts itself was discontinued in 2024.
Podcasts on Google's platforms now live on YouTube Podcasts (part of YouTube Music). To get your podcast listed, set up your show in YouTube's podcast manager — you can submit your existing Fireside RSS feed.
Once your podcast is live on YouTube Podcasts, paste the URL into your podcast settings under Podcast Apps on your Fireside dashboard and a link will appear on your Subscribe page.
